Find Best Price For Merrell Chameleon Stretch Sneaker Castle
I bought these directly from Merrell (they had come out the day I called them re: Chameleon Gore-Tex), and they were $7 cheaper, but that's irrelevant. Without a doubt, these are the most comfortable hiking shoes I've ever owned. From the moment I slipped them on, they were as comfortable as loafers. My concern was that they wouldn't give enough support, but the next day I walked 8 miles on some pretty steep hills and rocky trails, and they were fantastic. They didn't rub, and the soles and tread were just right.
These are half the weight of the Chameleon3 Gore-Tex Merrells which I'm still using for more difficult national park trails, in part because the Gore-Tex is waterproof. (But since these are shoe height, step in a stream more than 5" deep, and forget about the waterproofing.) Still, it was amazing that anything this light could provide such comfort and support. The sizing was perfect, something that I've only been able to say once before (and I have 4 pair of Merrells and 2 of Eccos). I'm certain that there will be another pair of these in my future.
One recommendation (not a complaint): There could be loops on the tongues because the tongue tends to roll under when you first put the shoes on. However, before you tighten the laces, there's room enough to slip a finger under and smooth the tongue out. Takes another second or two.

I love this pair of Merrell which is lightweight and best of all comfortable. You can walk in them all day long and your feet does not feel sore or tired at all. I would recommend this as a good pair of walking shoes!
These are a very comfortable shoe and lightweight. They fit very well with no break in period when shoes can be uncomfortable. They keep my feet surprisingly cool as well. I would definitely buy them again.

These shoes are the best i have ever worn very comfortable all day long I have been wearing them every day.
Very substantial and handsome looking shoe. Would be good if it stretched a little more at the top. Nice color
These are the daily commuters. I wear them six days a week and they are great so far. Up and down ladders, on concrete and rooftops all day long. I wear 11s in nike, adidas, and most other shoes/boots. These fit true to size. The sole is softer and grippier than the two Merrell Continuums that I had before. Can't wait to take them off road.
These shoes are incredibly comfortable and perfect for any activity. I They are my new go to shoes for everything. I have no reservation recommending these shoes and will certainly be buying another pair when/if they wear out.
