Review Globe Fusion Skate Black Charcoal
I had seen these shoes in the Mall one day as I was strolling by with a friend. The light colors of blue had caught my eye, I walk over and look at the bottom seeing the price tag of $122. I was shocked, so I had asked the lady what these were called. When I had gotten home it took me less than 5 minutes to find these, Amazon shot them right out like it was out of style. I was a little scared at first on if the right size would come cause I've never bought shoes online before. So I took a chance and couldn't resist the low price. About 4-5 days later I get a box, I knew right away what it was, I opened it slowly expecting a fail or problem but I had come to a state of shock when I discovered these nicely packed Globes as if they came straight from the Factory. Sure enough they fit, I laced them up. It's been a good 5 months. Still look new, I had noticed that these have a very thick layer of rubber that goes almost all the way through to the soul where I've seen on DVS, Etnies and DC had a thin layer of rubber with a foam lining pad under it. So they would wear out fast. Not these, if you're a skateboarder (Which I'm not) but I am kind of hard on them, these are the best for you. They have great grip and are very light. Plus you have to love the No Tongue design where you can just slip them on not having to deal with tightening your shoelaces all the time when you lace them. I give these 5 stars.

I have purchased DC Shoes for a long time now and find that the most recent DC's that I have been getting are falling apart quicker, the laces are thinner, and overall just appears that the materials being used are sub par. This pair of Globe sneakers reminds me of when I used to get DC's as they are unique and made solid.
One thing I did not realize at all about this pair of shoes was the fact that the tongue is connected on each side so there really isn't a tongue. At first I thought I wouldn't like this however it has ended up being awesome because the tongue doesn't fall to one side or the other and its helping the shoes stay newer looking longer!
I definitely recommend Globe's to anyone that loves skate shoes and also agrees with the DC comments above.
We are about to buy more globes so i figured i would put up a review sharing my experience with others. for the last 10 years whenever I buy shoes I only buy globes with the 1 piece spandex tongue. The first pair of globes I bought (didnt have the 1 piece tongue) said on the box they were hand stitched in Australia and they lasted me 4 years. The second pair were the chet thomas 4 pro model which was the first pair i had with the spandex 1 piece tongue. They lasted 3 years.
My wife currently has fusions that are 2.5 years old and still going. I currently have sabres that are 2.5 years old and still going. I will try to put up pics of the two so you can see how they look after wearing them every day for 2.5 years. We just bought my 5 yr old son his first pair of fusions for when he starts kindergarten, we figured on sale for 30 bucks we would see how they hold up for a kid compared to the $20 walmart specials which dont even last 6 months before they have fallen apart.
The amazing thing is that both mine and my wifes current globes are still very comfortable even though they are pretty worn behind the heels from slipping them on and off. the soles on mine and my wifes are almost worn smooth in a couple spots but they still have rubber there and are not getting thin, just loosing their tread pattern.
In summary, I can not vouch for all globe shoes only the ones that we have owned (awesome). I have been debating with my wife if we should buy a few pairs each and keep them in the closet just in case they get discontinued and are no longer available. I Would buy multiple pairs of "these" globes in a heartbeat even at full price. They are a very good value especially when you consider that every pair I have owned have lasted at least 3 years of everyday use. 5 stars
They fit my feet there the right size and colors that I had ordered online all and all good shoes
He loved them! Globe are the only skate shoes he'll wear! They're a little wider than the other skate brands and that works out well for him.
This shoes look clean and they are comfortable. I enjoy traveling in them. Easy to slip on and slip off at the airport check points when they don't have fast pass!
