Review Vibram Fivefingers Bikila Sports Shoes

Vibram Fivefingers Bikila Sports Shoes

I used to do a lot of high mileage running back in high school. I stopped after graduation and here I am ten years later thinking I can just jump back in. After much research, I decided that the Vibrams were the way to go. I had gone out for a run in my Asic's the day before these arrived and noticed a ton of knee, shin, and foot pain. The day these arrived I went outside and felt like I could run a marathon... that is if marathon's were 3 miles.

STILL! 3 miles after not running in years would have done some serious damage but these shoes ENCOURAGE NATURAL running. The way years and years of evolution have meant for our feet to do.

It's been 2 weeks running in these and I haven't felt any pain in my joints and have continuously increased my mileage each day. I highly suggest these shoes for any former runners who have taken some significant time off and want to get back in the groove. Viva la Vibram!

I recently bought a pair of vibram shoes. Bikila's. My dad is now interested, are there any other companies out there that make similar shoes? If so what company and how can I get them. Another question, what is the recomended use for these shoes? What types of sports/activities? Are they dependable? Any major problems? How long do they last? Thanks for all your help!

I am only a kid, so I wear a 37 and need womans shoes. I am a casual wearer or kind of an athletic wearer. I either want komodo sport, flow, bikilas or speeds. Any answer is welcomed, thanks.

So I recently went to an amusement park and saw a couple of people walking around with shoes that had toes in them. Instantly in love with them I took to the internet figuring there must only be a couple of kinds. Turns out there are thirteen different kinds and they all look very similar. So my question is which one should I get? I was looking for kind of a multi-use shoe that I could use for running, walking, outdoor all around use but if they're meant to only be used indoors or for running then that's fine. Colour is irrelevant I just want one that meets the criteria I listed if that's possible. What do you guys think?
