They go well with jeans... If you wear a blazer, sweater, or t-shirt with those jeans these shoes can toe the line. These shoes are basically an updated Chuck Taylor with better materials, concept, and colors. I wouldn't suggest that nice N.D.C. oxfords wouldn't be nicer on some occasions (because that would be a lie), but I find myself wearing the two pairs I have of these Tretorns (black and greeen) than I do wearing the two pairs of N.D.C. nice leather shoes I have. Also, for those of you that are into the 'natural movement' concept, these shoes have no 'rise' and are completely 'neutral'. I suggest you get some if you like the way they look because I find myself reaching for these shoes over my Puma RS100, Onitsuka Ultimate '81, New Balance 574, Campers, and nice leather shoes. Then again, it's kind of nice not to see people wearing them... so forget it... these are not the shoes you are looking for...(wave of my hand)... move along.
