adidas Originals Tapper Evolution Sneaker

I didn't buy these shoes from Amazon (but when I need to replace mine I will since much cheaper than what I paid in store) but wanted to post a review since the 1-star review here says nothing about the shoes! Having owned similar adidas pairs over the past 15 years (Gazelle and Samba pairs) I knew what to expect -- well-fitting shoes that look and feel good. The new, updated Gazelle to me was very cheaply made, no real cushioning and no support insole whatsoever. Saw these next to the Gazelles and wow! This has by far been the best pair of adidas I've worn. There is good insole cushioning, sufficient to wear to work (I stand about 13 hours at work, so this was important), great heel support and great cushioning on the dorsal part of the foot, too (rare for most shoes I've seen). They basically fit like a nice pair of winter gloves. The only downside to these shoes are: they are not great shoes for walking long-distances in (standing and walking short-distances, they are great, long-distances, no) and can tend to make your feet overly warm since there really is no venting in the fabric (you'll want to have the newer, "sport" socks for these shoes, others get too sweaty). All in all I recommend these shoes highly, especially to those who like me have been dissatisfied by the updated Gazelles.

I have used these shoes for year and a half for almost all of my outside activities and i am amazed at how durable and comfortable they are. Ive used them for running, sports, skateboarding etc. and they still have minimal wear and are still my favorite shoes.

I've had this specific model of shoe for about three years now and it has really impressed me in terms of quality, comfort, and look. These shoes can sure take a beating and still stay comfortable. I've personally compared it to other top-notch name brand shoes such as Nike, DC, Adio, Circa, and Vans, and nothing can come close to the comfort it gives my feet. Personally to me, it has an amazing cushion for my heel. Also the durability of the shoe is amazing. I've done mountain climbs with these shoes, skateboarding, and just simply to get around; and it has lasted for about 3 years under all this constant wear-and-tear. Plus the suede and leather finish is easy to clean. So overall, these are by far one of the best shoes I have ever bought and highly recommend it to anyone.

Look great, are comfortable. Only find a problem with this product is that the white edge of the sole, gets dirty easily.

So far the shoes have lasted. My husband goes through shoes often. He has owned all different colors of the adidias and those always last longer than the others. He has to have flat foot shoes and these are perfect.
