I have never found a pair of shoes that has this much of cushion as this. This has so much cushion that you can feel like you're walking on gel. I used to like my Menrell but this is way much better, and is very comfortable.
I can wear 8.5 or 9, and slightly wide, and this size 9 fits me just perfectly.
I have pain in my sole (plantar fasciitis), and these shoes seem to alleviate it.
One drawback is that, the inner sole cannot be removed. so if you have custom insole. You dont want to use with these shoes.
As for toning up muscles, I am not too sure. I dont feel anything different. I guess because I already have a lot of leg muscle from years of playing tennis. So this does not help me much.
As for the price, 64 bucks seem to be ok to me.

The shoes fit well, and they are comfortable. They actually helped me during my vacation to San Francisco. Onthe hills and on the cable cars, FitFlops saved my achin' bones.
I have 3 pair of my own fitflops and thought my husband would find them as comfortable as I do. Turns out he does. the fitflops are well made and are very light. They're easy to walk in and you can spend a lot of time on your feet and not feel it in your legs or back. I highly recommend fitflops to anyone looking for a comfortable shoe or sandal. To me the fact that they are supposed to help tone your legs is a side benefit.
initially i was bit skeptical before buying these shoes.
but after wearing them for a week now, i found these shoes to be very comforting.
